Café Costume: renewed Antwerp store

Men in suits. I think these three simple words are the beginning of many a daydream. Only, at Café Costume these dreams can become reality. We already got a taste of what the tailoring company is all about during their event in Ghent and now it was the time for the boutique in Antwerp to be in the spotlights.
The reason? The completely new part of the place, which is entirely dedicated to accessories.

Neckties, bowties, tiepins, cufflinks, suspenders… you name it, they have it. I think it’s a marvelous idea to draw more attention to the Café Costume accessories. Unfortunately I don’t have the money (yet) to have a piece tailored by them, but my budget is big enough to buy one of the speckled ties, for example.

Another nice aspect of the brand is that they’re not only skillful, but also playful. That attitude is clearly reflected in the shop’s interior. Old pianos are recycled to become furniture and quotes like “A tailored suit guarantees that you will get laid (… at least once)” are decorating the spaces.

A Café Costume event always equals quality drinks; in this case fine wines and fancy cocktails with Grey Goose vodka.

I can alway appreciate a good shirt. I don’t know exactly how many minutes I’ve been staring at all the different collars, but it was quite a while.
