Cîme: Resisting Danish Air

I took some products of the new Belgian beauty brand Cîme back to where they come from: nature. Ok, Danish river banks are not really the Himalayan hights, but it’s a start.

A couple of weeks ago I had a lovely lunch with the founding ladies Anke and Isabel. They both left their lives as lawyers behind them and followed their hearts to the mountain vegetation of Nepal, creating a skin care line that is both stylish and biological.
During our talk I could easily sense their enthousiasm. Every little aspect of the brand is following their vision: minimalistic packaging of recyclable materials, reinvestment in local Hymalayan initiatives and of course natural products with a luxurious feel.

The Belle d’Amour day & night cream and De Main en Main hand cream were my perfect companions for the filtered light and cold winds of Denmark.
Julie’s friend Lionel had asked me to pose for him, so my skin could use some help. A nice texture, great hydratation, plus the only cosmetic brand in Belgium with the official bio label: I’m a fan.

I also recently tried out the Rosee De Roses cleansing and tonifying lotion after a dress up party. It was fast, effective and felt nice. I still have to test the Kissed by a Rose repairing serum, which is Cîme’s crown jewel. My expectations are already high, I can tell you that.

There is so much to learn about Anke and Isabel and their cosmetics brand, so make sure to visit the Cîme website.

Although it’s already December you can still join the Movember cause at http://mobro.co/strutterview and help prostate cancer research!
