Sumo & Pure’s SS13
Brussels is promising. That’s what I learned during the press days of the PR agencies Sumo and Pure. Besides the obvious amount of whites and pastels, I discovered some other – dare I use the word? – trends amongst their brands.
For Sumo I was especially attracted towards the collections of agnès b. and Lacoste. The fabrics and prints are both refined and playful: the ideal combination for the spring and summer months.

When it comes to Pure, there was one thing that couldn’t be denied: yellow was omnipresent. As always Filles à Papa met my expectations and stayed true to its style, now with a tomboy touch. I was pleasantly surprised by the originality of Paul Smith and Helder. My last mention goes to Atelier Marchal. The brands is developing in a direction I really like, prefering stylish clean lines over cutesiness.

Fashion and design victims, you don’t have to worry: you’re in good hands for the next spring and summer!
