Japan Expo

I’m a sucker for Japan. The food, the language, the ancient culture and the one of today… I am so intrigued by it. So when I read there would be a huge Japan Expo in Brussels, I had no other choice but to go.
What an amazing atmosphere! My geeky side was flourishing with all what was happening around me. Check out my video to get a bit of the vibe.

The music in the video is from You Kikkawa, the J-pop artist who performed that day. She was the embodiment of ‘kawaii’, the Japanese cult of cute. I couldn’t help smiling when she looked right into the camera.
It was also the first time I tried bubble tea. I am definitely going to check it out at Jili in Antwerp to try more flavours.
