Interieur 2012: new talent

My friend and jewellery designer Jonathan Hens was invited for Ventura Interieur at the Interieur 2012 design fair in Kortrijk so I payed him a visit. He got the honour to have the first stand near the entrance. I specifically like his creation process, which is based on fashion techniques.

Meike Harde, the designer next to Jonathan, also caught my attention, especially with Lichtschlucker. It’s a collection of lamps made of disposable dishes. One of her lamps were used in the restaurant, along with the beautiful Polygony table of Duccio Maria Gambi.

I got intrigued by these two lamps.

The industrial yet playful look of this piece of furniture suits my taste wonderfully.

Interieur 2012 also had a greenhouse inside the building. Pretty cool, huh?

These two pieces immediately made me daydream. Visually powerful and strong concepts.
