Why we love Essentiel Accessories
1 word: know-how. If there’s a company that knows how to get something done, it definitely is Essentiel. Strutter View has been a fan of this Belgian brand for a while, especially Julie since her closet consists of Essentiel dresses for the biggest part ;). She actually wrote about her unconditional love for Essentiel in an article that will appear in the Antwerp Fashion Night magazine that’s coming out anytime soon.
Now you guys have probably picked up the news somewhere, but Essentiel came up with a fantastic new idea; a shop entirely dedicated to their accessories! And what better way to celebrate this than with a piece of delicious cake and good company?
Those who follow me on Instagram have probably seen the beautiful invitation for the new store opening popping up on their feed. I’m a sucker for mysterious, beautiful and witty invitations, so I couldn’t help being extremely excited to see what they came up with. Before we headed out to see what the new shop looked like, we went on a high tea at Inge Onsea and Tom De Poortere AKA the incredibly charismatic, creative duo behind Essentiel.
I really still can not believe how welcoming they were. We visited them at the Essentiel HQ, but it didn’t feel like their workplace at all, not to mention the incredible office of Inge Onsea. What a dream to have this office as a creative space. Her use of colour was an instant boost to my mood. What surprised me most about her is the fact that, besides she is the successful co-founder of Essentiel, she is also a devoted and proud mother.

Sooooooo it looks like I’m writing a book again although I decided to keep my posts short. Well, it doesn’t always work, that’s what happens when I have so much to tell I guess. Let’s head over to the matter for which you are all here, shall we?
The Essentiel Accessory store opened in the beginning of September and is a place completely dedicated to the Accessory line. As we all know, accessories can make or break your outfit, so we think it is a fantastic idea of them to open an entire store dedicated to this. Also, it is a great and affordable alternative for young people who love Essentiel, but do not always have the necessary budget (like me).

All this, AND SHE’S FUNNY TOO. Some people just have it all.

On my back-to-school wishlist!
This bag was my favourite item hanging in the store.

See you in my next post!
