Hot Hot Heat

How are you all doing during this amazing HOT weather? I was suffering from my sun allergy the last couple of days, so I finally found some extra time to select a couple more holiday pictures to share with you all. The temperature last weekend really made me think of our day at Coney Island. I know a lot of New Yorkers don’t exactly love this beach (it’s sooooo crowded and filled with tourists) but after 8 days of baking in the sun, we really needed to cool off. Coney Island is famous for a lot of things, like an amusement park, the beach and boardwalk, and of course… Nathan’s famous hot dogs.

I’m so happy I took this Kiehl’s Sun Protector with me. Like I said before, I’m not the sunbather – I just get a little red… if I’m feeling lucky. I don’t like putting on sunscreen at all so that can cause problems. Some products are either greasy, OR too thick and hard to spread on the skin. Result? I look like a reverse Dalmatian. Kiehl’s Activated Sun Protector SPF 50 is not greasy at all and it was very gentle to my (and my boyfriend’s) sensitive skin. And most importantly … I didn’t come home looking like a fried chicken like I usually do.
