The Public Image

Meet this hot couple Nele and Jeru and their completely renewed store The Public Image. Never have I seen that much interest for an opening of an independent store in Antwerp since RA13. Both the concept store and half of the street was crowded with curious fashion lovers.


I really like the design of the store. The complete interior was done by Nick Bal, who kept it simple but with an edge, drawing all the attention to the clothing and accessories.
Those clothes and accessories are very well picked by Nele and Jeru. They prefer young designers over big brands and an urban rock vibe over too polished silhouettes.

The opening was a great moment to meet the people behind the shop, to shop yourself and to bump into friends while having a free drink and listening to the djs.

One of my friends I accidentally met there, was Lindsey, who joined me for the afterparty in – what’s in a name – Public.
