It’s a small world with tiny people

Are you wondering what all these people are looking at ? It is the art work from the artist Slinkachu. You can visit his microcosmos on 5 different locations in Antwerp.

One of these locations is around my corner. So I couldn’t resist having a quick look during my study break. I already saw his photographs at the Antwerp Accessible Art Fair in March. His work was my favorite part of the event. But I have to admit that it is even more spectacular in real life. The models are so tiny, really unbelievable.

The artist buys the models online and paints them himself. I can only imagine the hard work! It is such a great idea to create a setting around objects on the street. At first sight you don’t notice it, the art work makes you take a closer look at the details around you.
