Alice in Shoppingland

The renewed Naf Naf flagship store in Brussels is definitely for girls who dare to dream.
The interior is one-of-a-kind with plenty of references to Alice in Wonderland, princesses and ballerinas. There was even a clock that reminded me of the tale of ‘the Wolf and the Seven Little Goats’.


The selection of gowns would have been perfect to star in ‘the Sleeping Beauty’. Naf Naf’s Head of Communications told me a really captivating story about the dress:
A 40-something woman entered the store and she said that she’d had a tough divorce recently. She tried on the dress and decided to buy it “in case I find love again and want to get married”. Who saidclothes can’t comfort you? To me the story is like a modern fairytale with a spark of hope, even in dark hours.
