H&M Bloggersday

For the first bloggers’ day H&M did an awesome job gathering creative talents and fresh newcomers from all over the country.

We were kindly invited too and our expectations were high for the Designers Against Aids 2012 collection. The people of H&M clearly did what they do best: picking up exciting trends in fashion and transforming them into cool, affordable pieces.

Getting bored wasn’t on the programme, because every blogger had the chance to channel their inner stylist and create a unique look with the pieces in the showroom. Vincent was the only one to style a look with the DAA2012 men’s collection. His inspiration: L.A. rock with festival vibes.

The one who completely convinced the judges, though, was Anaïs from Modoholics. She really had a sparkling personality.

There were some impressive people in the jury: the top stylist Linda Van Waesberge, gorgeous model Elise Crombez, fashion photographer Dirk Alexander and make up artist Gino Beeckman were all invited to judge and they also gave some useful fashion insights. Of course the H&M team itself took also part in the judging.

The complete H&M Bloggersday would have been really perfect if we both could have gone to the same sessions. Julie did the afternoon programme and Vincent covered the evening session. Yet both of us had an amazing experience and we hope this won’t be our last.
