Not just a chair

I am so glad with my first purchase with my own Visa card! Better than to shop for clothes, I decided to invest in a good piece of furniture.
A couple of months ago I discovered this amazing site called Decoratio.com. It’s actually Belgian and the website specializes in high quality reproductions of design furniture. I know, reproductions are still reproductions, but I’m not yet in a situation where my budget is big enough.

Anyway, my eye fell on this beautiful chair with the iconic DSW design of Ray & Charles Eames. Eames is one of the names that makes my heart beat a bit faster. Other interior designer names with similar effects are Eero Saarinen, Arne Jacobsen, Le Corbusier, Eero Aarnio, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Harry Bertoia.

I think this piece of furniture was a perfect investment and it will probably stay with me forever. Eames DSW chair, I love you!
