6 hours in Paris

My friend Bart loves to go to an other city for one day, especially to Paris. So who wouldn’t say yes to a day in Paris? We arrived in the centre just in time for a late lunch. After walking around in my favorite neighborhood, Le Marais, we found a cute little café where you can eat a sandwich or a salad. You can’t go to Le Marais without buying a cupcake at Berko. It is crazy how popular this shop is. On one side of the store they sell cupcakes and on the other they sell cheesecake. You should really go there if you are in the neighborhood.

After eating our cupcakes on a park bench, we took the metro to the Apple store. Yes people, I’m geeky. I was surprised how big the store is, really enormous and so crowed! For dinner we went to Pick Clops. Kinda funny to eat in a diner in the middle of Paris. I ate a bagel and it was ok, nothing special, but you get more than enough food for your money. The only downside of the day was the weather. It was so grey and rainy that I wasn’t in the mood to take snapshots or film this beautiful city. But I wouldn’t be Julie if I hadn’t made a short video of my day in Paris. I chose this song from the Dave Brubeck Quartet because there is always playing a jazzy tune in my head when I’m in this wonderful city.

Julie

Ps: Thank you Bart !

Hummm… I have to try one of those cupcakes next time I’m in Paris. I also loved the bright orange “Senhor do Bonfim” ribbon!
