The New Ikea: Bigger and better!

Besides cooking, traveling and fashion, we (Britt,Julie) also share another passion: Interior design. Readers who already follow us on Pinterest can probably all agree. Well you could imagine how happy we were when we got an invitation to get a sneak peak of the renewed Ikea store in Wilrijk.

Two Ikea interior designers taught us something more about the Pax wardrobes so, in the future, we can effortlessly store our large amount of clothing in a very fashionable way. It was, beyond any doubt, very helpful to get the opinion of an expert. The convenient part of this wardrobe is that you can adapt the whole thing to your own needs and preferences. Do you have a lot of clothes to hang? No sweat! Or are you the type of person who tends to fold sweaters and jeans? The Pax system gives you the opportunity to add as much shelving as you want. There’s even a solution for the beauty addicts among us because the beautiful drawers in the closet can store your ridiculous amount of nail nail polishes (been there, done that).

Julie is a really big fan of Ikea. She just renewed her dressing last year and she replaced her old closets with the Ikea Pax system. It’s so reasonably priced you can easily change the layout of the closet, without having to pay too much money.

So do you have some major changes to do in your room, studio or house? Please take our advice: Don’t hesitate to visit an Ikea store near you. Buy the basic stuff at Ikea and personalize your room with vintage pieces or found treasures from a flea market. The internet is a wonderful place to find beautiful interior decoration pieces too. And if you’re having a lack of inspiration right now: take a look at our interior design inspirational albums on Pinterest!
