Vienna: fun from past to future

If I learned one thing from my trip to Vienna, it’s certainly that Austrians know how to celebrate big. Not only now but already since Empress Sissi’s time. The architecture and monuments are so overpowering.

The people from Vienna already had a blast in the big wheel at the Wurstelprater at the end of the 19th century. The amusement park, though almost completely closed during winter, was a really cool place to walk through.

My host Arne and his lovely friend Sophie (the photo down left) showed me what the Vienna night life was all about. We went to a party called Grelle Forelle. Radio Slave was blasting his sound through the speakers when I made this picture. Nina Kraviz’s set was a lust for the ears as well. You can see her more to the left on the pic.

It was so hard to make a selection out of all the pics. The last one was taken at the super impressive Austrian Parliament.
