Barcelona: a night experience

Barcelona, one of my favourite cities by far. My good friend Magali is doing an exchange programme over there, so it was the perfect occasion to step on a plane with direction ‘BCN’.
It was my third time in the capital of Catalonia, but only the first time as an adult. Conclusion: no Gaudí for me this time, but a discovery of the Barcelona night life!

Funny enough, Barcelona was the city where I saw Chicago. The musical, that is. In Spanish! The dancers, singers and orchestra were great. We went to Sotavento afterwards, a club on the beach of Barceloneta.

Seeing the Columbus monument is always a special moment for me. It’s at the point where the sea meets La Rambla, probably the most famous street of the city.

Magali’s room mates, both called Kim, are simply wonderful. We already went out for drinks at Le Cyrano bar on my first night there and as you can see, whe had a great time. Afterwards we hit Hyde Club till early in the morning.

Since we went out so much, we slept till the afternoon. Result: a stomach that desperately wanted to have food. I took this picture of Magali right before we left for brunch. You can read all about that in this post.
