Art ’n Bloom : the reunion

The fashion edition of Art ’n Bloom at the Bloom hotel in Brussels was a great occasion to see two Belgium-based designers whom I love: Marko Galovic and Juliette Bogers.

I know Marko Galovic and his perpetual other half Tanja Beljanski from Showroom Les Belges 2010 in Paris. You can see the little video report I made about that event here.

Tanja and Marko consider themselves as respectively “Cher and Cher’s daughter Chastity Bono”. Needless to say that seeing them again was so much fun. Oh, by the way, Marko Galovic’s dresses are simply gorgeous. Very feminine and elegant, yet very ‘now’.

I have a lot of respect for Juliette Bogers. She is so much more than a good fashion designer. She promotes young creative talent in her shop/workshop/gallery and apparently her style is translating to interior design as well.

She completely redid her bedroom at the Bloom hotel with a beautiful mountain stamp pattern with an artisanal feel. The entire bed, curtains, lamps and booklets got the make-over.

Juliette even told us that, if you like her prints, you can bring whatever surface you want and she’ll give it her signature style.
