Art ‘n Bloom : accessories

These designers showed their accessories at the 7th edition of Art ‘n Bloom. In all the rooms on the first floor of this lovely hotel were designers with their work. It took us a couple of hours to visit every room. We really liked the initiative, all different kinds of visions together at one place makes it very interesting. Every room was unique and had a different atmosphere.

Vanessa Aerts was there as well with her jewelry line. I really like her work because it is so refined and simple. No bling bling needed.  A part of her collection is focused on leather. You would think that such a rough material would be too much on these fine jewels but this is obviously not the case.
She told us that she tries to create movement in her jewelry. For example the necklace below. When you wear it, it changes its form when you move. I really like that idea. You can see her entire collection on her online store.
These handbags are handmade by Nina Bodenhorst. She created Niyona because of her passion for leather. At first sight they have a classic look but she added some details to make it more modern and fun. The good part is that you can choose your favorite leather from a wide range of samples. Typical brown or a fresh pink, name it she’s got it. You can see her entire collection on her website.

You should have a look on Julie Denis’s website if you’re looking for a more delicate scarf. All her accessories are handmaid and decorated with littles beads.
In an other post Vincent will discuss his favorite fashion designers. So stay tuned!
