Eurorailtrip: Quick Lunches
I have to delay my Eurorailtrip videopost due to some technical difficulties. That is why I decided to give you some addresses for a quick lunch in Budapest, Praag and Berlin.
BUDAPEST
As I said in my previous Eurorailtrip post : you should eat at Juice Bar & Fast Casual Restaurant Fruccola near fashionstreet when you are in Budapest. They offer a variety of menus between 5 to 9 euros. Next to the sandwiches is the salad bar there they prepare your own salad as you please. You can choose all the ingredients yourself. You can do the same thing for a fresh juice. For all you sweet tooths they have a small selections of cakes but my friend tried the chocolat cake and it was a bit dry. Besides this small remark I have nothing to say. When you are in need of a fresh and healthy lunch go to Fruccola!

PRAGUE
If you like bagels, quiches, cakes and other baked stuff you should have breakfast or lunch at The Bakeshop in Prague. In this beautiful bakery you can choose from a large lunch menu . The moment you enter the room you can smell the freshly baked goods. There is a big bar when you can eat and there are a few tables outside. This place is well known in Prague. It’s a bit more expensive compared to the other bakeries but it was worth it.

You should have lunch at Modrà Zahrada if you are a big fan of Italian food. In a street next to the expensive shopping street Narodni you’ll find this restaurant. We found this place when we were looking for the Franz Kafka Café, which closed apparently. They have a big variety of pizzas and pastas so it took us a while to decide what we wanted to eat. We paid around 7 euros for a main course and a large bottle of water. The plates were enormous though! So if you are in the mood for a quick pasta or pizza for a good price, this is the place you should go to!

BERLIN
I have to admit that I’m a big bagel fan. I didn’t have to think twice about taking a seat when I saw the menu of Quchnia. We ate our bagels outside in the sun but I wouldn’t mind eating inside either. They have a modern yet cosy inviting interior where a lot of people can drink a coffee or have lunch. After my bagel I tried their cheese cake and it was good. Everything was well presented and had fresh ingredients. I’d probably go back when I’m in Berlin.

I’ll keep you posted about my video post. Sometimes technology really gets on my nerves.
