Galliano

Last Friday we had the honour to take a peek in the kitchen of restaurant Galliano. The German chef is always preparing a mix of French and Mediterranean cuisine. Here are some of his mouthwatering dishes.

Galliano has recently added a wonderful selection of pizzas to its menu, so we really had to try it out. Actually, it was Julie who did the glorious discovery, since she’s living in the Zurenborg neighbourhood.

Julie and Maxime chose the classics quattro stagioni and quattro formaggi. Britt and Vincent were a bit more experimental and went for one with spinage and gorgonzola and another one with carpaccio and rocket salad.
For dessert, Julie and Britt went nuts on a humongous and delicious piece of tiramisu. The boys both took the sabayon.

Vincent was completely flabbergasted by the sabayon. This is what he had to say:
“I barely exaggerate when I say I had the best sabayon ever. The Galliano kitchen crew made an off the menu version with fresh strawberries and chocolate ice cream, exclusively for Maxime and me. The delicate flavours were just out of this world.”

Check out our video post to see how much we enjoyed our dinner.
