This recipe is one I’ve learned from my grandmother. We used to make it from time to time when I was a child. This morning I was feeling a bit nostalgic so I made some for breakfast.
- 3 eggs
- 2,5 dl milk
- 8 gr of vanilla sugar
- 8 slices of leftover white bread
- butter for the pan
It’s a quick and easy recipe. In a big bowl whisk together the 3 eggs , 2,5 deciliters of milk and 8 grams of vanilla sugar until you get a smooth liquid mixture. Dip the slices of bread one by one in the bowl. Make sure they aren’t dry anymore before baking them in a non stick pan in melted butter. They are ready when both sides are brown. You can eat them with some sugar, sirup or jam.
